Whether taking part in more casual events like a BBQ, volunteering at community outreach opportunities, or witnessing  the beauty and pageantry of our Coronation Ball ... it all leads up to our headline event - our incredible Gambrinus Lights Up the Night Parade!

The Krewe of Gambrinus throws the most AMAZING party for the City of Galveston.  The Krewe always remains true to the Mardi Gras spirit of Friendship, Fellowship, Community Service, and most of all ... FUN! 

Come join us and experience Mardi Gras all year long as  we celebrate the season with our 2026 parade theme - "Fables & Folklore ... Magical!"

KING GAMBRINUS LIGHTS UP THE NIGHT PARADE

This spectacular family-friendly parade highlights the first weekend of Galveston's Mardi Gras season.

Incredible theme-based costumes accent brightly lit world-class floats that bring joy and laughter to well over 300,000 spectators on a typical carnival weekend. 

Come join the fun  and catch some of the thousands ot beads that are thrown on parade day! 

GAMBRINUS ANNOUNCES NEXT KING & QUEEN

Trey Boudreau III and Cindy Bulgier have been determined to become the next King and Queen of Gambrinus! Their Coronation will be held on January 31, 2026.

Trey and Cindy will be surrounded by members of their Royal Court at their Coronation and will also help lead the 2026 Gambrinus Lights Up the Night Parade on February 7, 2026. The Royal Court members include Dukes Jeff Tambrella, Mike King, Vincent Duhon, Fred Koperski; and Duchesses Linda Debolt,  Leslye Mlcak, Sherry Gautney & Erica McCarty.
